Index basics

  • Refreshed on a 24-hour rolling window — new links typically appear within 48 hours of going live.
  • Every link includes: source URL, anchor text, link type (dofollow/nofollow/ugc/sponsored), source domain DR + URL UR, first-seen date.

What gets tracked automatically

Every project tracks: backlinks to your domain root, backlinks to each tracked landing page, and the full backlink profile of every Competitor you've added. New, lost, and changed links flow into the daily change feed.

Setting up alerts

  1. Backlinks → Alerts → New alert.
  2. Pick a trigger: new backlink from DR ≥ X, lost backlink with DR ≥ X, anchor-text drift on a tracked URL, or a press placement on a watched outlet.
  3. Pick a channel: in-app, email, Slack, or webhook.
  4. Pick a cadence: real-time, daily digest, or weekly.

Lost links matter more than people realize

When a high-DR backlink disappears, your rank often drops 24-48 hours later. Lost-link alerts give you a head-start: investigate (did the page 404? did the link get removed? did the site go down?) and reach out before the ranking impact lands.

Disavow file management

Toxic backlinks can be added to a per-project disavow list, exported as a Google-spec disavow file, and uploaded to Search Console. The platform reminds you when the list has grown enough that re-uploading is worthwhile.
